PRINCESS PEEPERS!!!!

And she's all glittery and pink and perfect! YAY!!!!

I just got an email from the blog author of Miss Rumphius Effect and Open Wide, Look Inside. She teaches elementary math pedagogy--they are studying how to bring math literature into the classroom and each chose a favorite title and guess what? One of her students chose Multiplying Menace. In Princess news, my illustrator, Tuesday Mourning, was interviewed on a Style show and believe it or not, that is not her real name! HA! I just found the illustrator's blog for my newest pb, Princess Peepers! Wee! And she posted a sneak peep--it's the title page (without the title, but you can imagine where it will go! LOL!)

I found a nice, padded package from Cavendish today. It's my edits for Princess and a nice newly released Cavendish book entitled, Bubble and Squeak. My five year old loves it!

My launch date is set for Fall 2008. Wow. And they are looking for illustrators now, so send way cool vibes over to the art director there! I'm very excited about their ideas already. This will be one fun book (of course, I'm biased. HA!)

And so, this puts me in a good writerly mood for a conference. No stormy agentdom worries hanging over me. Cavendish just swept them away!

I just got an offer for my Princess picture book by Marshall Cavendish.
