The Silver Lining

After all that happened this week, I woke up with the flu yesterday! But I'm feeling much better today. Whew! My family is healing.

My daughter who had the hemorrhage is still sick. I'm taking her to the doctor today. I think her immune system lowered because of what she went through. But I believe she's on the mend.

I'm home and very tired. I've spent too many hours in a hospital, but all is well, hopefully. Hubby is sleeping with pain killers. One of my daughters hemorrhaged and her bleeding is stablized but she's very weak and anemic. Please keep praying for her. She has the flu on top of it all. And one of my other daughters has the flu as well.

Thankfully, my son is at a camp with his school this week and I had a neighbor take my five year old today to and from school.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. They mean a lot to me.

Okay, so one of my daughters is in love with a boy in her class. They were holding hands outside the classroom and he said, "Come here. It's time to kiss." Shocked, my daughter said, "Jay! You're kidding!" He laughed and said he was. 

All she can think about is Jay. It's Jay this and Jay that. She even says she wants to marry him! 

You say, "Eh, teenagers."

Right.
