Leaving for Hawaii...

I hate to leave all the celebration around here, but I'm beating the cold and heading WEST! YAY!

And before you all get too jealous, we can fly very cheaply to Hawaii this time of year from CA. PLUS, we still have many friends living there to bunk with, so this writer is going for pennies. Too bad I'm not working on anything in the Pacific vein--I love to write about island life. Sigh...

See you next week! And don't go and win any awards while I'm gone. I hate to be left out of the celebrating! Tee hee!

Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and keeping you and your family in my prayers. I've had sick kids myself the past week, but my husband didn't have to have surgery on top of it!
